Just found that most people could not see the videos so I updated the links in the above post.
Now 2 of the links work and the other two have been removed as no public access was allotted to them because their on facebook.

Cool, Dan !

Man, your bucket list must be getting shorter by the day !

Get a GoPro for ease of use, I think Santa is gonna hook me up this Christmas.

Good job on the fish, keep 'em coming, Trace

Hi Steve.
Yes, Lina is like a kid, big fish are always a supersize for her. That one was near 7 feet long and probably weighed in well above my first estimate of 20, more like 60 to 70.

Anyway I am going out in the morning for more expermental fishing.
The best thing so far is I have established a supply of live bait, the best kind to slow troll and still travel well in the tank and I can call in advance and reserve.

That last trip we ran out at 32 mph at 3,500 rpm's on near lake water.
At 1:30, we ran home at 46 mph.

could have kicked it up to 60 mph both ways!

Dan

Looking forward to seeing what next jumps in your boat.

Good luck in the morning, hopefully you'll have good weather.

Save some for me, Trace

The latest fish to jump on board is a red snapper.
The photo does not show this fish's actual size which is about 25 pounds.
Now I know what is breaking me off over and over on that wreck!
Twice as long as my shoulders are wide.

Dan,

That Red Snapper is bad ASS !   They fight pretty good, eh ?

I just bought some this past weekend at the fish market, $21.00 bucks a pound.....

...you earned your keep for a while with that one fish.

OK, so I can learn from you, what was for bait and what kind of tackle and rig did you use?

Thanks, and congrats again !    Trace
